Conditions we treat
What Anthony treats.
Training and overuse tightness
The tension that builds up across a training block, and the areas that keep flaring.
Low back tension
Tight, guarded lower backs from lifting, sitting, or a long week.
Sciatica
Hands-on work through the lower back, hip, and glute where muscle tension accompanies sciatic symptoms.
Neck and shoulder pain
Desk-bound stiffness and pressing or overhead work that leaves the shoulders sore.
Athletic complaints
Sport and gym complaints in someone who trains, treated by a therapist with a martial arts background.
TMJ dysfunction
Jaw tension and TMJ discomfort; Anthony is certified in TMJ assessment and treatment.
Recurring tension
The same knot that keeps coming back, addressed alongside how you load it.
Post-training recovery
Recovery sessions timed around your training week rather than squeezed in elsewhere.
Massage therapy helps manage these concerns; it is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or care.

Recovery in the same building as the training that earned it.

A short assessment, then hands-on work
Anthony starts with your history and a look at your posture and movement, then works through the areas that need attention, adjusting pressure to your comfort throughout. You undress only to your own comfort level and are properly draped, with only the area being worked on exposed.
Leave with home care and a receipt
You leave with simple home-care and mobility guidance, plus an official receipt for your extended health plan. Direct billing is available for many extended health plans, confirm your insurer when booking.

Sore from training, or carrying something that keeps coming back? Treatment from a therapist who trains, in the building where you train.
Registered Massage Therapist who blends hands-on clinical skill with a deep background in movement and athletics. A graduate of Langara College's RMT program with a martial arts background and an MMA black belt, certified in TMJ assessment and treatment. Treats sciatica, low back tension, athletic complaints, and recurring tension through patient-centred care, working on the training floor at Fittopia Fitness Center so treatment and training sit under one roof.
Why the Fitness Center
Treatment and training under one roof.
Recovery usually happens somewhere else: a clinic across town, on a different day, explained to a therapist who has never seen how you train. Here the treatment room sits inside a fully equipped fitness center, so a session can be booked around the training week that created the problem rather than squeezed in around it.
Anthony treats from a movement background of his own, with a martial arts practice and an MMA black belt behind the hands-on work, so the conversation about what you lift, how often, and what keeps flaring is a short one.
Physiotherapy with Registered Physiotherapist Winston Yeung runs at the same location, so if your assessment points toward loaded rehab rather than hands-on recovery, that care is in the same building too.
